Pacejet is returning from record level attendance at SUN conference in Las Vegas, NV. As a completely users-driven and users-ran conference, SUN continues to be the annual event that draws out the Infor CloudSuite Industrial community. Read on for a few of our biggest takeaways from Las Vegas.
It was a full agenda beginning with the Ryan Estis touching keynote Monday morning that challenged us both personally and professionally. The main takeaway we got from the opening keynote was this idea of approaching each day with 3 areas of gratitude and then only 3 to-do's. What a way to start the day! By using this method, Ryan explained that by starting your day with the top 3 things you are grateful for, can help better align your goals with your day.
Tuesday’s Infor keynote was highlighted by the retirement of long term Infor employee, Tom Welch. Tom has been the leader for Infor CloudSuite Industrial support for 22 years and will be sorely missed, but we wish him well.
Collaboration to better serve the SUN Community
As many of you know we are partnering with Single Source to serve our SyteLine Shipping and Logistics customers. Through our collaboration with Single Source, we at Pacejet feel that we can offer a better, well-rounded product with better customer service through our collaborative partnership. On Monday during the conference, Pacejet and Single Source hosted a roundtable discussion for the companies using Pacejet’s legacy product SyteLine Shipping and Logistics (SSL). It was a nice time to connect with customers using this product and work on new ways we can innovate together with Single Source to help SSL users ship more quickly, with less steps using Pacejet.
Our partnership with Single Sources will allow each company to leverage their strengths to bring comprehensive solutions to the Infor CSI community. Single Source will be focusing on improving the picking functions within Infor CSI, while Pacejet continues to build out its platform around carriers. The Pacejet carrier network has grown to over 60 carrier connections and the platform is extending into features such as carrier insurance. Stay tuned while we continue to innovate this year.
In keeping with tradition, Pacejet had the last session spot on Wednesday and we appreciate those that participated in our session, "Improve Shipping Accuracy and Fulfillment with Scan Pack". During our hour time slot, Pacejet President, Larry DeLeon, provided a company update so that attendees could get a sense of the market but also where we are headed in 2019 with our software solution. The session highlighted Pacejet’s Scan Pack feature which is a huge value-add for our customers that enables less manual entry and more packing automation. We also talked about the varied integrations now available with Infor CSI, which includes Customer Order Packing Slips, Shipment Master, Transfer Order Packing Slip, and Service Order Packing Slip. The integration with the Shipment Master allows for either packing in CSI or in Pacejet. There are also various methods for Quoting. And, when none of these meet your needs consider leveraging the Pacejet API to create your own unique experience. If you want to learn more about our flexible API, please contact us at, email@example.com.
The Infor CSI integration has matured a lot since we formed our partnership with Single Source in 2016 and we look forward to their continued innovation. As we continue to evolve our platform and create a network of shipping services for our customers, we are constantly encouraged by the changes that each ERP channel we work with is undergoing. There's no better time than now to evaluate business automation and streamline services for more holistic operations.
