AFS Upgraded Integration Released

In today's rapidly-changing shipping environment, more businesses are using a strategic portfolio of parcel, freight, and third-party logistics (3PL) providers to support a full range of services requested by customers.

For the Pacejet platform, any provider of shipping services (e.g. rating, shipping, tracking, voiding, etc.) is considered a "carrier" and we're constantly looking for high-value services to integrate into our network. In today's post, we're pleased to announce an enhanced integration with a 3PL provider named AFS.

Integration Notes

The upgraded AFS integration with Pacejet supports a full complement of rating, shipping, tracking, and voiding functionality that is available for any Pacejet user running popular ERP integrations and for custom integrations via the Pacejet API. New and enhanced services popular with Pacejet shippers include lift gate, residential (pickup and delivery), inside (pickup and delivery), protection from freezing, dangerous goods, excessive length, COD, and more.

Activating the AFS integration is similar to activating other third-party logistics providers, including setup for printing bill of lading (BOL) documents, capturing ProNum values, etc. Existing Pacejet customers who already have an earlier AFS integration can request help from support to evaluate their connector version for upgrade or to see if new services are needed.
